Team TRIO traveled to Orlando, Florida for a busy week of panel sessions, new product exhibitions, and networking at the 2022 Design & Construction Week.
As the co-location of the NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) and NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the event brought together more than 80,000 building industry professionals from around the globe.
Attendees at IBS explored hundreds of new products and services, participate in education sessions, workshops and demos, and formed vital business partnerships, while KBIS welcomed thousands of industry professionals for a trade show dedicated to all aspects of kitchen and bath design.
At IBS, Angela Harris moderated and was a panelist on Bath, Meet Spa: Designing for Beauty, Wellness & Function, a session highlighting the importance of wellness in design in everyday spaces like the bathroom. She also joined the panel on Kitchens of Tomorrow: Getting Ahead of the Design Curve, sharing insight on what’s the next big thing for kitchen design.
Christie zumBrunnen shared her expertise as a panelist on KBIS’ Is the Home an Ecosystem? Unravel the Confusion of Wellness Information into a Solid Plan, speaking to how architecture, design and tech converge for health and wellbeing through sleep, air quality, biophilia, safety and security, and performance products.
The week ended with The Nationals – NAHB’s Most Prestigious Awards’ Competition. The program is the largest and most prestigious awards ceremony recognizing the best new-home sales and marketing in North America.
