Angela Harris Partners with Phillips Collection on Accent Furniture Line
Angela Harris, Principal & CEO of the Denver-based interior design firm TRIO, is launching a collection of furniture with Phillips Collection this summer. The Angela Harris for Phillips Collection line will debut during the July Las Vegas Market.
Inspired by her love of travel and art, Harris created the collection with a focus on the natural beauty of wood and metal. Imbued with a sense of quiet and understated luxury, the collection pairs Harris’ penchant for organic modernism with a rich, artisan-made, worldly elegance.
The full collection consists of a wide array of furniture and seating, including club chairs, sofas and dining chairs, dining tables, bar tables, coffee and side tables; creating an eclectic yet sophisticated product offering.
Pure, geometric forms rendered in rich suar wood paired with metal inlays inform much of the collection. The collection is available in two color schemes. The warm features hand-rubbed stains over natural wood with brass accents, which the cooler palette employs grey wood with silver details. The minimalist pieces in the line are impeccably crafted by hand in Indonesia, all under the close supervision of Phillips Collection and Angela Harris.
“I first started working with Phillips Collection for custom pieces for my own interior design projects. I was always blown away by the quality and beauty of the final pieces so when the opportunity came around to do an official collection, we jumped at the chance.”

The collection also gives a competitive advantage to builders by offering a curated and customized look for model homes and multifamily residences designed by TRIO.
“We strive to be a robust design partner for our builders and developers by bringing together historically compartmentalized components of the typical design project,” says Harris. “This allows us to create more holistic design solutions for our clients that incorporate all aspects of the design process.”
“From our beginnings working in art and artifacts to our present day incarnation as a manufacturer of contemporary design objects, Phillips Collection has always aimed to work with the world’s best designers. This newest collaboration with Angela continues that tradition while offering our clients something entirely new and unexpected.”
Jason Phillips, Vice President, Phillips Collection
Harris and Phillips will also collaborate on another project at the Las Vegas Market.
They’ll be speaking at a panel discussion, “Pushing Creative Boundaries: How Architecture and Interior Design is Influencing Product Development,” at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 29 in Building C Seminar Room, C174.
Harris and Phillips will be joined by Shane Mahan, regional executive of Kitchell Custom Homes, and Erik Peterson, president of PHX Architecture, to discuss how new development, architecture and interior design is influencing product design, specifically in hospitality and mixed-use projects. The panel discussion will be followed by a special toast and after-party in the Phillips Collection showroom, Building A-202.
