We are honored to have won Gold, Silver, and several 55+ Awards at NAHB's The Nationals!
Only 12% of all entries were finalists with Silver Awards, and less than 1% of all entries at The Nationals were fortunate enough to win Gold in 2020.
LAS VEGAS (Jan. 21, 2020) – TRIO, one of the fastest-growing design and visual merchandising firms in the nation, received one Gold and 4 Silver Awards at The Nationals 2020, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)’s largest and most prestigious awards program. Presented by NAHB’s National Sales & Marketing Council (NSMC) at the International Builders Show (IBS) January 21-23 in Las Vegas, The Nationals recognizes the best new-home sales and marketing in North America.
“TRIO’s market-driven approach to design and merchandising has led to phenomenal success for our builder and developer clients around the country,” said TRIO CEO Angela Harris, who will help chair next year’s event in Orlando.
“Through our collaborative creative process, we deliver designs that are innovative, beautiful and laser-focused on connecting with each project’s target audience. We’re honored to be recognized by NAHB among the talented firms who continue to elevate our profession.”
Angela also lent her expertise on the panel Single Family Lifestyle in a Multifamily World. She was thrilled to share the stage with fellow industry experts:
- Steve James – DTJ Design
- John Thatch – DAHLIN Architecture Planning
- Richard Gollis – The Concord Group, LLC
Couldn’t make it to the show? Here’s a peek at what’s next in designing higher-density communities that appeal to buyers by capturing the essence of single-family living.
Harnessing the Power of Personalization
Wellness, livability, and semi-personalization are the most-desired single-family features developers/builders can apply in a multifamily setting right now.
Rethinking the Floorplan
Time after time, we’re seeing buyers gravitate toward design for the kitchen, master bath, storage, and amenity nooks in floorplans that create a single-family feeling in a multifamily product.
Upping the Ante with Amenities
Retail, restaurants, and community pet features aren’t going anywhere, but developers are pulling out all the stops to create a unique sense of community with new amenities targeted at specific segments of the multifamily market – from full-blown wellness centers to juice bars, meditation corners and sound gardens to innovation spaces and creative co-working suites. Following the wellness trend, we’re also seeing an increased desire for sports complexes and amenities to support an active lifestyle.
