The Sustainable Furnishings Council added three industry leaders to its 2023 board of directors.
Angela Harris is one of three new industry leaders with a commitment to sustainability to join the Sustainable Furnishings Council‘s board of directors this year.
The Sustainable Furnishings Council (501c6) is a coalition of manufacturers, retailers and designers dedicated to raising awareness and expanding the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices across the home furnishings industry.
“Our mission is to help companies reduce environmental footprint, and to help consumers find healthier products and design services,” says the Sustainable Furnishings Council.
It’s focus revolves around industry transformation—to increase interest in environmentally safe furnishings and promote the development of more sustainable options through education and networking.
