We're Expanding Our Team with Licensing & Corporate Marketing Expert Kathryn Lawrie

“TRIO is a true partner to top builders and developers nationwide, and they have a deep understanding of the importance of designing highly desirable, marketable spaces and products. I’m excited to elevate and strengthen that experience with enhanced, attainable, and responsibly manufactured products.”
– Kathryn Lawrie, Bode & Well President

DENVER (July 28, 2022) – TRIO, one of the fastest-growing design and visual merchandising firms in the nation, recently announced the expansion of its leadership team with the addition of Kathryn Lawrie who will spearhead efforts for the product development arm of the TRIO business.

Lawrie joins the organization as President of the newly formed sister company, Bode & Well by Angela Harris. Lawrie offers more than 16 years’ experience in product development, licensing, sales, and corporate marketing.

Prior to joining the organization, Lawrie was Vice President of Licensing and Corporate Marketing for Springs Creative; handling multi-million-dollar budgets with Disney, Marvel, Nintendo, Microsoft/Minecraft, Universal, Paramount, Nickelodeon and more. Experienced in design, development, sourcing and procurement, Lawrie’s career began in the Gift and Home industry where she led several home textile and decorative accessory brands, both licensed and proprietary.

“Over the last couple of years, we’ve made a series of strategic hires to establish our Portfolio of Brands with the purpose of super-serving our clients in both the commercial and model home industries. We want to provide not only the best possible design, but the best possible products and merchandising to our loyal client base. Our mission is to design and build better communities because everyone deserves great design.”
– Angela Harris, TRIO Principal & CEO

“Kathryn’s extensive licensing and product development experience will undoubtedly take the newly formed Bode & Well brand to the next level,” Harris added.

Lawrie developed thousands of on trend SKUS over the years for wholesale catalog distribution and working with major Outdoor Retailers such as Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s.

Partnering with the most reputable USA manufacturers, Bode & Well products will first launch in traditional wholesale markets to retailers, trade, and commercial accounts. “Seeing products come to life from the ideation stage through a full product lifecycle from design to manufacturing, every decision can impact the consumer journey,” Lawrie said.

Lawrie’s love of the arts, the outdoors, and global travel has influenced a life-long passion for ceramics, woodworking, and textiles.

“There is something about working with clay and natural fibers that reminds me how strong we may be as individuals, but also how fragile we are in our communities. We truly need each other to thrive, “ Lawrie added.

When Lawrie isn’t developing product and licensing, she is spending quality time with her husband and two children in the Carolinas.
